Lu Weibing forwarded a Weibo post by Redmi General Manager Wang Teng, and wrote: “@王腾Thomas conducted a front-line survey of old users of the Note series. Is a new Note coming? What are your expectations?” This is a crazy hint that the new phone may be available soon.

Wang Teng wrote on Weibo: “I interviewed Note series users in Chengdu. One of them talked about why he has been using the Note series, because Redmi is the only product in the thousand-yuan range that insists on a flawless experience. He gave the example that we have been supporting infrared remote control. There are 7 people in his office, and the air conditioner remote control is missing. Others’ phones do not support infrared function, so the whole office relies on him to turn on the air conditioner.”
