Previously, vivo has launched the V40 Lite 5G in the global market. This model is actually a modified version of the vivo V30e 5G. Recently, CNMO learned from foreign media that vivo seems to be preparing to launch a new version of the V40 Lite 5G, and will introduce the 4G version at the same time. The main difference between this new 5G version and the existing version is the chip it carries, and this information has appeared in the Geekbench database.
The vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G versions have recently been spotted on certification sites such as Geekbench, CQC and SDPPI, revealing a lot of key information. Among them, the vivo V40 Lite 4G version has been exposed on the Indonesian Telecommunications Authority SDPPI, with the model number “V2424”. This model also appeared in the CQC certification, showing that it supports 15W, 18W and 80W fast charging technologies.
Geekbench data shows that the model will be equipped with a Snapdragon 685 4G chip, equipped with an Adreno 610 GPU, with a single-core score of 475 and a multi-core score of 1579. The chip contains 4 1.9 GHz cores and 4 2.8 GHz cores. In addition, the test prototype runs the Android 14 operating system and is expected to be equipped with at least 8GB of RAM.
On the other hand, the V40 Lite 5G version also appeared on SDPPI with the model number “2418”. Its Geekbench test results showed a single-core score of 916 and a multi-core score of 2234. Although it was initially speculated that it might use the Snapdragon 6 Gen1 chip, the source code revealed that it is equipped with an Adreno 613 GPU, indicating that it is actually equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen2.
