This phone can fold inward twice when folded, instead of in a “Z” shape. So far, it has not been released as a mass-produced model. Korean media said that Samsung has shifted its product direction to curled-screen mobile phones, which can be used by rolling up the display.
CNMO learned that Samsung’s curved screen mobile phone is equipped with under-screen camera technology, hiding the built-in camera under the display. It is rumored that it will adopt a large 12.4-inch screen. As for the release time, it is predicted that it will be launched in the second half of 2025.

Back to the current foldable screen mobile phone market, Korean media are concerned about the pressure from Huawei and other manufacturers on Samsung. According to reports, a person familiar with Samsung’s internal news said: “I recently heard that the mobile experience department responsible for devices such as smartphones is working to reduce costs to improve profitability.” Another source also revealed that starting this year, Samsung has begun to reduce costs and even stopped producing model products for ordinary mobile phone stores.
Although market research companies have different opinions, Samsung’s leadership in the foldable phone market is indeed threatened by its competitors. TrendForce predicts that Huawei will occupy the first place in the global foldable phone market in 2025, but Counterpoint Research predicts that Samsung will still have a slight advantage. “Samsung will continue to maintain its first place in the global foldable phone market, but we believe that the gap between it and its competitors will be greatly narrowed,” said a person from Counterpoint Research.
