In recent years, Apple has gradually stopped including many accessories in the box, citing environmental protection as an excuse. This trend began with the iPhone 12 series, when Apple announced that it would no longer provide a charging adapter with the phone for environmental reasons. The package only included the iPhone itself and a charging cable. The iPhone 16 series naturally continued this practice.

In addition, many other Apple products have already switched to the Type-C interface, and accessories including chargers also generally use the Type-C port. However, for iPhone phones, although one end of the data cable has been changed to the USB-C interface, the other end still retains the traditional lightning interface to ensure good compatibility with the device.

It is understood that the iPhone 16 series has now opened the pre-order stage. On Apple’s JD.com flagship store, as of 8:20 p.m. on September 13, the number of reservations for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models has exceeded 320,000, and there is currently sufficient supply; while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have attracted more than 1.87 million reservations, but multiple versions are temporarily out of stock.
