CNMO learned from foreign media that Motorola quietly released a new phone in the UK – Motorola Edge 50 Neo. This phone is another new member of the Edge 50 series. Previously, the series has launched Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 and Edge 50 Fusion. The new Edge 50 Neo is equipped with a Dimensity 7300 chip and a 1.5K screen.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo is a small-screen phone with a 6.4-inch P-OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, 2670×1220 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The screen has an integrated fingerprint sensor and is protected by the third generation of Gorilla Glass.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo
The phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The battery capacity is 4310mAh, which can be charged at 68W via wired charging or 15W via wireless charging.
In terms of imaging, the Edge 50 Neo has three rear cameras: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens that doubles as a macro lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front-facing camera.
In other aspects, the Edge 50 Neo is equipped with dual speakers and supports Dolby Atmos. The connection options are comprehensive, supporting dual SIM cards (nano SIM + eSIM), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. It is pre-installed with Hello UI based on Android 14. The dust and water resistance level reaches IP68, and the durability has passed MIL-STD 810H certification.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is priced at £449.99 (about RMB 4,200) and is only available in 12GB+512GB versions, but with a variety of Pantone colors to choose from, such as Poinciana, Lattè, Grisaille and Nautical Blue. According to CNMO, it may be renamed moto S50 in the domestic market.
