In terms of pricing, the Honor Magic V3 12GB+512GB version is priced at 1999 euros (about 15,747 yuan) overseas, which is nearly twice the domestic starting price of 8999.

For some domestic brands, when going overseas, especially in the high-end market, they often have to set higher prices overseas. For example, Huawei’s Mate series products were priced several thousand yuan higher overseas. The fact that Honor Magic V3 dares to set the price at more than 15,000 yuan this time shows its confidence in the product and its ability to control the high-end market.

In terms of products, Honor Magic V3 cleverly solves the lightweight problem through the new Honor Luban architecture. It is only 9.2mm thick and weighs 226g. It is currently the lightest, thinnest and most powerful folding screen product, and feels comparable to a straight-screen flagship. While maintaining extreme lightness and thinness, Honor Magic V3 is equipped with the third-generation Qinghai Lake battery with a battery capacity of 5150mAh. On September 5, the latest statistical report released by Counterpoint showed that Honor’s sales of large foldable phones in Europe increased 22 times in the first half of 2024 compared with the second half of 2023. At the same time, Honor contributed the most to the growth of the entire large foldable phone segment: sales of large foldable phones in the European market doubled in the first half of 2024 compared with the first half of 2023, of which 70% of the growth came from Honor. Earlier, Counterpoint also released global foldable screen market data. In the second quarter of this year, in the Western European market, Honor surpassed Samsung for the first time and became the number one in the foldable screen market. Honor also achieved a year-on-year increase of 455% in global foldable phone shipments in the second quarter of 2024, becoming the brand with the largest year-on-year growth.

With the launch of Magic V3 overseas, Honor will create a new landscape in the global high-end market, especially in its second home market, Europe, where Honor will continue to move forward with Magic V3.
