On the afternoon of September 10, Huawei officially held a new product launch conference. At this conference, Huawei’s Executive Director Yu Chengdong took the stage and first brought the highly anticipated world’s first three-fold screen mobile phone – Huawei Mate XT Extraordinary Master.
At the press conference, Yu Chengdong introduced the imaging system of Huawei’s three-fold screen mobile phone. Although the new phone is extremely light and thin, it still has very good performance in imaging. It is understood that the new phone is equipped with a rear three-camera imaging module, of which the main camera uses a 50-megapixel CMOS, has a 1/1.56″ large bottom, and supports f/1.4-f/4.0 ten-speed variable aperture, which can intelligently adjust the aperture size according to the scene to make the light and shadow processing more delicate. This is also Huawei’s first folding screen product equipped with a ten-speed variable aperture. The new phone is also equipped with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel 5.5x periscope telephoto lens, which can capture scenery farther away.
In terms of software, Huawei’s 3-fold smartphone is also equipped with Huawei’s XMAGE imaging engine, which supports AIGC image editing, including AIGC image expansion and AIGC elimination, and also supports AI cloud image quality enhancement.
In other aspects, Huawei Mate XT is not only the world’s first tri-folding screen mobile phone, but also the world’s largest folding screen mobile phone and the world’s thinnest folding screen mobile phone. It is equipped with a 5600mAh battery and supports 66W wired + 50W wireless fast charging.
