On September 19, the well-known whistleblower Digital Chat Station revealed Huawei’s new phone release plan in the second half of the year. Specifically, Huawei is tentatively scheduled to release the nova 13 series in October, the Huawei Mate 70 series in November, and the Huawei Mate X6 dual-folding screen mobile phone around November.
The Huawei nova 13 series is expected to offer multiple models including Huawei nova 13 Vitality Edition, Huawei nova 13, Huawei nova 13 Pro and Huawei nova 13 Ultra, covering the price range of 2,000 to 5,000 yuan. Huawei nova 13 Ultra may be equipped with a satellite communication system.
The Huawei Mate 70 series is expected to include multiple models such as the Huawei Mate 70, Huawei Mate 70 Pro, Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ and Huawei Mate 70 RS. All models may be equipped with 1.5K domestic OLED screens as standard. Some models may be equipped with customized OmniVision large-bottom main camera sensors, built-in large-capacity batteries, new-generation basalt architecture and Kunlun glass, or the first built-in Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT. Referring to the Huawei Mate 60 series, the starting price of the Huawei Mate 70 series may exceed 5,000 yuan.
Huawei Mate X6 may be equipped with some of Huawei Mate XT’s technologies and adopt an ultra-thin solution. It is speculated that the thickness of the phone is less than 10mm when folded, and may even reach about 7mm, and it will not exceed 4mm when unfolded. Referring to Huawei Mate X5, the starting price of Huawei Mate X6 may be around 13,000 yuan.
