He announced that Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship new platform will be greatly upgraded, and the new desktop-level micro-architecture will bring “three super features”: ultra-high main frequency, super performance, and ultra-low power consumption. Regardless of each point, it is a disruptive upgrade from the past. “Based on the current survey data, it is exactly the same as when we jointly defined it three years ago. It is widely speculated that the new phone mentioned by Lu Weibing should be the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 15 series. These two new phones will be the world’s first models equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen4.
It is understood that the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 uses TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing process and uses Qualcomm’s self-developed Nuvia Phoenix architecture for the first time. The super core frequency of this processor is as high as 4.2GHz, and its performance is fully comparable to Apple’s A18 series.
