Motorola Razr 50 will be launched in India on September 9, with the price to be similar to that in China

Motorola recently launched the Razr 50 Ultra foldable phone in the Indian market, but surprisingly did not release the standard version of Razr 50 at the same time. A few days ago, it was confirmed that the standard version of Razr 50 will also be launched in the Indian market, but the specific launch date was not announced at that time. Now, Motorola announced on the social media platform X that Razr 50 will be officially released in India on September 9, and will be sold on Motorola’s official website, Amazon India and other major retailers.

According to current information, the Indian version of Motorola Razr 50 is expected to have the same specifications as the global and Chinese market versions. The only possible difference is the memory option. One of the highlights of Razr 50 is its 3.6-inch external screen design, which allows users to view and operate various applications without opening the phone, bringing a more convenient experience. This design caters to the needs of modern users and provides abundant operating space even when the screen is not fully unfolded.

Motorola India released a teaser on the X platform, tweeting: “The all-new #Motorola Razr 50 is ready to bring images to life with a 3.6-inch external screen. See more, do more, experience more without flipping the screen open. Available on Amazon and other major retailers on September 9.”

As for the price, there is no official Indian pricing information yet. However, referring to the price in the Chinese market, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version of the Razr 50 is priced at about RMB 5,699 (about 67,219 Indian rupees), while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version is priced at about RMB 6,199 (about 73,115 Indian rupees). This means that in the Indian market, the price of Motorola Razr 50 may also be around this price. Motorola’s pricing this time will be a key factor in whether the phone can succeed in the Indian market.
