OPPO will launch 6500mAh large battery and then 7000mAh

Since 2024, various manufacturers have been competing with each other in terms of batteries. In the past, a 5000mAh battery was considered a large battery, but now it is embarrassing to have a battery less than 6000mAh. Among all the mobile phone manufacturers, OPPO seems to be the one at the forefront. A blogger revealed that the new OPPO-branded phones will enter a new stage in terms of battery capacity.

On the afternoon of September 11, the well-known digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” published an article, revealing OPPO’s next plan for mobile phone batteries. He said: “Ouga has fully implemented 6500mAh, mid-range single-cell + mid-to-high-end 100W dual-cell, and 7000mAh batteries have entered the next process, and the probability of implementation has greatly increased.” This means that OPPO and its sub-brands OnePlus and Realme may have increasingly larger batteries in their new phones.

Previously, the blogger revealed that OPPO and OnePlus have solved the problem of 6500mAh± battery capacity, and a new mid-to-high-end phone has started trial production. This new phone will be equipped with a dual-cell ultra-large silicon battery with voltages of 7.64V and 9.06V respectively. If 100W fast charging technology can be achieved, it is likely to be a potential hit.

However, the OPPO Find X8, which will be launched in October, may not be able to catch up with this wave of 6500mAh large batteries. According to previous news, the new phone will be equipped with a 6000mAh glacier battery, and the OnePlus 13, which will also be launched in the second half of the year, may also use the same battery size. However, I wonder if the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and OPPO Find X8 Ultra to be launched later will use 6500mAh or even 7000mAh large batteries?
