According to foreign media reports, Samsung has officially announced the release date and main specifications of the Galaxy M55s. On the Amazon India page, a promotional poster shows that Samsung will launch the Galaxy M55s in India on September 23. The poster is marked “Amazon Specials”, which means that the phone will be sold exclusively through Amazon. After clicking on the poster, you will jump to a page dedicated to the device, showing most of its specifications and features.
According to the poster information, the Galaxy M55s will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen and support a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera system includes three sensors: a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is 50 megapixels. The phone will be available in two color options: Thunder Black and Coral Green.
Samsung has not yet announced specific details about the processor, RAM, storage, battery capacity, charging speed, and connectivity options. However, considering that the Galaxy M55s will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy M55, it is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. The battery capacity is 5000mAh, supports 45W fast charging, and has dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C interface and stereo speakers.
The main difference between the Galaxy M55s and the Galaxy M55 is the back cover design, with the former having a striped pattern on the back cover while the latter does not. Given that the two devices are basically the same in other aspects, the Galaxy M55s is also expected to be priced similarly to the Galaxy M55.
