Samsung S25 series battery exposure: maximum 5000mAh unchanged, supports up to 45W

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is set to be released early next year, but according to the latest rumors, Samsung’s flagship models will not have any significant upgrades in terms of battery and charging speed.

According to a report by Dutch media GalaxyClub, the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S25+ is the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy S24+, and will continue to be equipped with a battery with a rated capacity of 4755mAh and a typical capacity of 4900mAh. Not only that, the battery configuration of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra is also consistent with the previous generation, 4000mAh and 5000mAh respectively. This means that Samsung has not made any significant improvements in the battery life of the new flagship models.

In terms of charging speed, Samsung still maintains the same standard as the Galaxy S24 series: the Galaxy S25 supports 25W wired fast charging, while the S25+ and S25 Ultra support 45W fast charging. This is undoubtedly a big pity for consumers who expect to see breakthroughs in battery life and charging experience.

In addition to the battery and charging speed, the camera configuration of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series has not made many breakthroughs. Earlier sources said that the camera combination of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will completely follow the configuration of the previous generation products. In other words, except for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, users of the standard and Plus versions may not be able to experience the new camera functions and effects.

Judging from the current rumors, the hardware upgrades of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series are mainly concentrated in a few parts, especially the ultra-wide-angle lens of the Ultra version, while the upgrades of the standard and Plus versions are relatively limited. Whether it is battery life, charging speed or camera configuration, the major breakthroughs that consumers have long been looking forward to do not seem to appear in this generation of flagship products.
