The vivo Y36 series has already launched three models in China, namely the Y36, Y36m and Y36i. Now it seems that the series is about to welcome a new member – the Y36c.
vivo Y36c
Foreign media recently discovered this new device in the Google Play Console and Geekbench database, and its model number is “V2357A”. Previously, this model also appeared in the 3C certification, showing that it supports 15W fast charging. Its specific name was not clear at the time, but now it is confirmed that it will be named Y36c. It is reported that vivo plans to launch more 5G mobile phones in China at a price of 1,000 yuan.
vivo Y36c appears on Google Play Console
According to the list information of Google Play Console, the SoC name of vivo Y36c is “MediaTek MT6853T”, which corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor. In addition, vivo Y36c will be pre-installed with Android 14 operating system and equipped with at least 6GB of memory. The screen resolution is 720×1612 and the pixel density is 320 DPI.
Running points of different memory versions
The renderings displayed by the Google Play Console show that the new model is similar in design to the existing Y36 series. The front adopts a water drop screen design with a thick chin below the screen, and the back is equipped with a dual camera placed in a rectangular camera module with an LED flash next to it.
The vivo Y36c also appeared on Geekbench, and the website showed that its single-core score was 614 points and its multi-core score was 1619 points. In addition, Geekbench also confirmed that the device will run the Android 14 operating system, but did not disclose the specific OriginOS 4 version model. In addition, another Y36c prototype with 8GB of memory also appeared on Geekbench, which means that the new phone will be available in 6GB and 8GB memory versions.
