Zhang Guoquan, Director of Xiaomi Mobile System Software Department, issued a message to remind users that this version introduced a large number of kernel layer technology upgrades, so there will be some staged problems and unstable factors. Therefore, ordinary users are not recommended to participate in this recruitment. After the technical verification is fully completed, some of the leading capabilities will be gradually integrated into the mainline version of Pengpai OS.
Zhang Guoquan introduced that the first Beta version of Xiaomi Surge OS Experience Enhanced Edition is mainly focused on bringing more natural system animations and improving the power consumption of single frames of games. Because it involves deep integration with hardware, there are only three pilot models, namely Xiaomi 14, Redmi K60 Extreme Edition and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

This version is a special branch version that is completely independent of the main version of Xiaomi Pengpai OS. It is a “test field” specially opened to continue the basic experience and conduct in-depth underlying optimization. It also has multiple update plans for experience optimization in different fields.
The registration period for this Beta recruitment is from September 13, 2024 to September 17, 2024. Mi fans who have passed the internal test registration are expected to receive a push before the end of September 2024.
