Xiaomi is preparing for its next major operating system update, Pengpai OS 2.0, which will introduce a number of new features and improvements. However, according to foreign media reports, Pengpai OS 2.0 will be divided into two versions: one based on Android 14 and the other based on Android 15. The former has relatively simplified functions, while the latter has the most complete functions, has the latest animation visual effects, and is specially optimized for flagship models.

Foreign media also revealed some new features of Pengpai OS 2.0:
Application background : Pengpai OS 2.0 will bring different application backgrounds to make multitasking easier;
AI Editor : Enhanced AI capabilities allow users to edit photos and videos directly on the device in more sophisticated ways;
AI Camera : Camera apps will apply AI to provide advanced image processing;
Redesigned Game Turbo : Game Turbo has been redesigned to deliver better performance and provide more customization options for gamers;
New animations : Smoother, more sophisticated animations will enhance the way users interact with their devices;
Optimized settings menu : It is reported that the new settings menu will introduce some new features to make navigation easier and more user-friendly;
Higher virtual RAM : The phone is more capable of multitasking.
According to previous news, Pengpai 2.0 will be released in October and will be pushed in China as soon as possible, and will enter the global market as early as December.
