On the evening of September 6, according to exclusive news from Sina Technology, Xiaomi issued an internal email announcing personnel adjustments involving Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing, Senior Vice President Zeng Xuezhong and several other senior executives.

According to reports, Xiaomi appointed Group President Lu Weibing to concurrently serve as President of the Mobile Phone Division, reporting to Group CEO Lei Jun; and appointed Group Senior Vice President Zeng Xuezhong to concurrently serve as President of the International Business Division, and continue to be in charge of the Internet Business Division, reporting to Group President Lu Weibing. Lu Weibing’s previous positions were partner of Xiaomi Group, Group President and President of the International Business Division, responsible for the Mobile Phone Division, Ecological Chain Division, Large Appliances Division, China Region and India Region; Zeng Xuezhong’s previous position was Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Group and President of the Mobile Phone Division, responsible for the R&D and production of mobile phone products. In this adjustment, the two swapped their main responsibilities.
